Dr. Rachel Chmelovski, DVM, DACVS

RCM Veterinary Surgery is owned and operated by Dr. Rachel Chmelovski. Dr. Chmelovski graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Biology in 2014. She completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2018. She then went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal surgery and medicine at the University of Minnesota from 2018-2019. Finally, she completed a three year residency in surgery, starting at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary medicine and completing the residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Chmelovski will be taking her final surgical boards in order to achieve board-certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in February of 2023.

Jordain is from Wahpeton, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. In her free time, Jordain enjoys hiking, reading, working out, and watching movies. Jordain’s pets include Athena the heeler mix and Maloney the cat.

Chris, LVT

Chris is from Langdon, ND. She joined the RRAEH team in 2018. She has a degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are; learning new things, using her skills, and that not every day is the same.

In her free time, Chris enjoys camping, motorcycling, crafting, spending time with her family, and keeping up with her kids. Chris’ pets include Skeeter the Caviler & Benny the Shih Tzu.

Megan is from Thief River Falls, MN. She moved to Fargo in 2014. She has a degree in Animal Science from NDSU. Megan joined Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center in the fall of 2018. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are critical care medicine and learning new things every day.

In her free time, Megan likes to travel, make crafts, spend time with friends and family, and watch scary movies. Megan has an old man cat named Handsome and Lab mix named Liebe that she enjoys to taking to the dog park.


Referral CSR


Jessi works as a Client Services Representative in the RRAEH Referral Center. Having worked in Veterinary Medicine for 2 years, she is excited to help our referral specialist doctors with their patients that are referred by their primary doctor. Meeting the animal’s and their families is the thing about veterinary medicine that Jessi enjoys the most.

Jessi’s animal family consists of Zoey, the Heeler mix, Demo, the Heeler, and Sadie the Siamese. Favorite pastimes for Jessi include roller derby, and ice hockey, (both observing and participating!) and video games.
