CRITICAL CARE SPECIALISTS
Dr. Andy Carver was the first board-certified specialist in emergency and critical care in North Dakota. He grew up in Minot and attended UND. Dr. Carver graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. He completed a rotating internship at Colorado State University, then specialized and completed a 3-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care from Michigan State University. He was faculty at the University of Florida Veterinary Teaching Hospital prior to moving back to North Dakota and joining our team in late 2018. Dr. Carver is passionate about autoimmune blood disorders, heart disease, sepsis, trauma, and kidney disease. He also has advanced training at one of the few hemodialysis centers for pets in America, as well as mechanical ventilation (respiratory therapy). He has published research in multiple journals and lectured both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Carver enjoys spending time with his wife, their dogs, and family. His hobbies include enjoying the great outdoors, world traveling, and is excited to be back in the great state of North Dakota.
Dr. Sam Wigglesworth moved to North Dakota and joined the RRAEH team in the summer of 2021 as its second specialist in Critical Care. She attended Drexel University for her undergraduate degree in Philadelphia and then moved onto the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2014. She then completed a rotating internship and a 3-year residency in Emergency & Critical Care from the University of Florida. She stayed on as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Emergency & Critical Care at the University of Florida for two years prior to moving to North Dakota. Dr. Wigglesworth loves all aspects of critical care but she is very passionate about trauma, shock, and pediatric/neonate care in the ICU. She is also trained in hemodialysis and mechanical ventilation.
Dr. Wigglesworth enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and their dogs and cats. They love traveling and exploring- they’re looking forward to getting to experience North Dakota!
EMERGENCY VETERINARIANS
Dr. Jeff Kramer grew up on his parents’ cattle and sheep ranch near Towner, ND. After completing high school, he attended North Dakota State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in microbiology and minoring in biotechnology. While attending NDSU, Dr. Kramer was a member of the NDSU Rodeo Team and was active with the NDSU Rodeo Club, serving as vice-president and president.
After graduating from NDSU, Dr. Kramer was accepted to Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May of 1999.
Dr. Kramer then accepted a position at Kindness Animal Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, where he was employed as an associate veterinarian. While practicing in Grand Forks, Dr. Kramer worked with both small and large animals.
In September of 2006, Dr. Kramer accepted the position he currently holds as associate veterinarian at Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center. While working at Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center, Dr. Kramer has also held positions as a part-time instructor at both North Dakota State University and Minnesota School of Business.
Dr. Kramer currently lives in Fargo with his wife, four boys, and the family cat, Junior. When he is not at the emergency clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family.
Dr. Ben Stegman is a native of north eastern North Dakota, and he owned a practice in his hometown prior to joining Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center in 2013. He completed his undergraduate training at North Dakota State University and then attended Iowa State University where he received his DVM degree in 2007.
He completed additional training after veterinary school in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture at Colorado State University, and he is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management as well as the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Dr. Stegman enjoys all aspects of emergency and critical care medicine, but particularly is interested in pain management, trauma, and acute care.
Dr. Stegman lives on a small farm with his wife and five children where they enjoy raising pure bred Dexter cattle, American Guinea Hogs, Chickens, Gaited horses, and English Shepherds. Dr Stegman’s hobbies include cheesemaking, charcuterie, and playing the guitar and banjo.
Dr. Julia Underwood graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. After veterinary school, she completed an intensive year of internship training with a focus on emergency medicine in San Leandro, CA. She practiced in both emergency medicine and general practice in California for several years before making a home in Fargo. Dr. Underwood joined RRAEH in March of 2016.
Dr. Underwood loves all creatures, but particularly enjoys working with feline patients. She enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine, but especially loves endocrine emergencies and trauma. Away from the clinic, she enjoys the outdoors, art, spending time with her husband, and playing with her two cats and red ear slider turtle.
Dr. Alli Griep was born in Spain and grew up around the Middle East. She learned to love animals while spending summers on her grandfather’s dairy farm in northeast, Iowa leading to a career in veterinary medicine. She graduated with a DVM in 2015 from Ross University.
After graduation, she took a position at Mid River Veterinary Clinic in Chamberlin, SD. She joined the RRAEH team in May of 2018. She currently lives on the farm with her husband, three dogs (Hank, Bear, and Old Lady), two horses (Chief and Chip), and one rescue cat (Fred). Aside from working with animals, her favorite activities include camping, trail riding, running, and traveling abroad. Dr. Alli loves all parts of emergency medicine, but especially obstetric emergencies and neo-natal care.
Dr. Jong graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She completed an emergency internship at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in 2013. Dr. Jong continued to work as an emergency doctor at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Michigan and was Faculty at the University of Florida Veterinary Teaching Hospital before moving to North Dakota. Dr. Jong loves all aspects of emergency medicine but has particular interest in trauma, abdominal surgery, toxicities, and shock.
In her off-clinic time, Dr. Jong enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs. Dr. Jong’s hobbies include painting, cooking, watching movies, and world traveling.
Dr. Tanya Borud was born and raised on a farm near Minot, ND. From an early age becoming a veterinarian was a goal. Dr. Borud graduated from NDSU in 2000 with a BS in Veterinary Technology. She then attended Colorado State University and in 2004 received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Upon graduation she and her husband relocated to the Fargo/Moorhead area, where she has practiced ever since. Dr. Borud is one of the original owners of RRAEH and in February of 2020 started practicing part time at the hospital. She enjoys the complexity and diversity of emergency medicine. When she is not at the RRAEH, she can be found working on horse teeth as owner of Elite Equine Veterinary Dentistry.
Over the years, Dr. Borud and her husband have made the Fargo/Moorhead area their home, raising two busy boys in the county. They spend much of their time outdoors. Summers are spent enjoying water sports on the lake and getting in as many trail rides and horse events as possible. In the winter they keep busy with snowmobiles and snow skiing. In her free time Dr. Borud enjoys spending time with her horses, reading, photography, and running. They share their farm with four horses, two dogs, four cats, and two goats!
Dr. Patricia Baasch is originally from Colombia where she was a Veterinarian, graduating from the National University of Colombia. After graduation she worked in a mixed animal practice and in research. Dr. Baasch moved to the US where she joined the Red River Animal Emergency Hospital in August of 2018. In 2020 she was awarded her full license in veterinary medicine in the US after successfully completing the ECFVG (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates). She speaks fluent English and Spanish. Dr. Baasch believes in treating every patient as if it was her own pet.
In her free time, she likes to do crafts, spend time outdoors with her hubby and FaceTime with family in Colombia. She continues to hope she will someday get used to the cold! Dr. Baasch and her husband have 4 rescued pets; Toby the MinPin Chihuahua mix and Victorino, Vicky, & Thomas the cats.
Dr. Janna Erickson grew up in Grand Forks, ND then moved to the Fargo area for her undergraduate degree at Concordia College. After a little bit of soul-searching, she decided to attend veterinary school. She started working at RRAEH as an assistant and receptionist, which solidified her decision. Dr. Erickson then graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. After veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island. She enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine, but especially enjoys surgery, wound management, and toxicities.
Dr. Erickson has one cat at home named Freja. She is hoping to add another companion soon, who will likely continue the Norse mythology name tradition. After veterinary school and an intensive internship, Dr. Erickson is rediscovering the meaning of free time. She enjoys baking, crafts (including redoing furniture), writing, and spending time with her family at the cabin in Northwestern Minnesota.

Dr. Anna Stansbery is from Sheldon, ND. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and started working at RRAEH in 2021. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is the variety and change each day brings – every day is something new!
In her free time, Dr. Stansbery enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time helping on the family farm. Her furry family includes Diesel, Oliver, & Budd the dogs, and Ernie, Gilligan, & Ivan the cats.

EMERGENCY VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
Amy is originally from Grand Rapids, MN. She graduated from NDSU in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Amy has been a member of our team ever since the clinic opened in December 2005. Amy also works with Dr. Grozdanic, a Veterinary Ophthalmologist.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, and daughters, Lilly and Hadley. They have three cats (Bobber, Marshmallow, and Waffles), a Chocolate Lab (Chip), and a French Bulldog/Cavalier mix (Caramel Roll).
Sarah is from Moorhead, MN. She graduated from Globe University in March 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She joined the Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center team Fall of 2013.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, and fostering kittens. Sarah’s pets include an English Shepherd named Nakia (that Sarah thinks is the best dog!), a French Bulldog named Nigel (who is the best pig!), Papa Neut and Eo the felines.
Carlene is originally from Strasburg, ND and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. She has been a part of the Red River Animal Emergency Hospital team since August 2013. Carlene enjoys helping with the hospital’s in-house blood bank.
She has a Doberman pinscher named Mercedes and a Geryhound named Ernie. Carlene enjoys yoga, coffee, mashed potatoes, & Greyhounds. In her free time, Carlene also works full time as an ICU nurse!
Nicole is from Champlin, MN. She moved to the FM area in 2008 and graduated from Globe University with her degree in Veterinary Technology in December of 2013. She joined our team in April of 2014 and enjoys every minute of it! Nicole also works with Dr. Grozdanic, a Veterinary Ophthalmologist.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys fishing, boating, going to the cabin, and always enjoys a good scary movie. Nicole has a Russian Tortoise named Tippet and also loves to foster pets until they find their forever home.

Bree is from Minnetonka, MN and moved to Fargo in the fall of 2012. She attended NDSU for Animal/Equine Science and Globe University for Veterinary Technology. Bree joined our team in the fall of 2014. She is passionate about teaching and emergency & critical care medicine. She is one of the program directors for RRAEH's Student Technician Program and became a certified RECOVER CPR Instructor in 2023. Bree thoroughly enjoys educating other veterinary professionals on the RECOVER guidelines. She loves to learn new things and is always looking for new ways to challenge herself and expand her knowledge. She is currently working towards obtaining her VTS(ECC).
In her free time, Bree enjoys reading, photography, gardening, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband have two cats (Zoey and Smokey), a Black Lab (Gauge), and a Golden Retriever (Griffin).
Chris is from Langdon, ND. She joined the RRAEH team in 2018. She has a degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are; learning new things, using her skills, and that not every day is the same.
In her free time, Chris enjoys camping, motorcycling, crafting, spending time with her family, and keeping up with her kids. Chris’ pets include Skeeter the Caviler & Benny the Shih Tzu.
ChyAnne is from Grand Forks, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2022. She has an A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Dakota County Technical College. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is being able to strengthen the human/animal bond. She finds joy in being able to help care for animals & help owners better care for the animals they love.
ChyAnne has 3 cats - Belle, Marie, & August, and an Australian Shepherd named Faline. In her free time, she enjoys baking & reading. During the summer months, she and Faline go to the lake and in the winter months, they spend time watching Netflix with the cats.
Jaymie is from Morris, MN and joined the RRAEH team summer of 2020. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology and Large Animal Science from NDSU. Jaymie’s favorite things about veterinary medicine are being able to help educate others about properly caring for their animals & learning more about his career every day.
In his free time, Jaymie enjoys woodworking, building, and fixing things. He also enjoys going new places and exploring. Jaymie’s pets include Rusty the Chiuhauha Min-Pin, Bear the Staffordshire Terrier, Bob & Marley the cats, and many fish.
Amber is from West Fargo, ND and joined RRAEH in 2020. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from NDSU and is enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program as well. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are forming relationships with clients and their pets, labwork, and surgery.
In her free time, Amber enjoys reading, exploring new places, kayaking, binging a good/weird series on Netflix/Hulu/Amazon, crafting, & gardening. Amber’s pets include Eleanor the Aussie/Boxer/Lab, Marvin, Mabel, Fritz, and Smoosh the cats.
Rachel is from Maple Grove, MN, and joined the RRAEH team in 2020. She has a B.S. in Veterinary Technology. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is learning new things every day and placing IV catheters.
Rachel's pets include her cats, Arlo & Goose, and her dog, Stella. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading and snuggling with Arlo & Goose.
Ashlyn is from Savage, MN and joined the RRAEH team in 2020. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are being able to physically see the difference you are making and educating owners about their animals.
In her free time Ashlyn enjoys lifting/working out, spending time with her friends, and when it's warm out, being outside every second. Ashlyn has a spoiled tabby cat named Poindexter.
Molly is from Valley City, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2021, She graduated from Globe University with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are diagnostic imaging – specifically ultrasound and pain management.
In her free time, Molly enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and hanging out at the lake. Molly’s pets include Spencer the dog and Mittens & Morty the cats.
Tatianna is from Jamestown, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2021. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. Tatianna’s favorite things about veterinary medicine are blood draws and placing IV catheters.
In her free time, Tatianna enjoys reading, playing games, and watching movies/tv shows. Her pets include Akali the cat and Lily the German Shorthaired Pointer.
Lauren is from Fargo, ND. She graduated from NDSU in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Her career started in emergency after graduation and has recently joined our team in November 2023 on the referral side in the oncology department. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography (mainly taking pictures of her cats), spending time with family and friends, and napping/sleeping. She has five cats (Nibble, Luna, Vixey, Scotch and Bermewda) and one Terrier/Chihuahua Mix named Jacks.
Katie, is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who started working with RRAEH in September 2023. She is originally from Plum City, WI, and graduated from Globe University. Katie currently shares her home with “Harold” a 12 year old feline.
Katie’s favorite things about working veterinary medicine are the variety vet medicine presents on a daily basis, being able to help with pain management for her patients and the rewards of seeing the visible physical improvements in the patients while in care at the hospital.
When free time can be found, Katie enjoys baking and cooking, traveling, foraging for natural herbs, and Katie also considers herself a crazy plant lady.

Brenna is a graduate of NDSU in Fargo, ND. She is a LVT who works in the ER at
RRAEH after working in general practice for a short time. Excited to work in

Sydney works in the ER department at RRAEH as a Veterinary Technician. Hometown for Sydney is Fergus Falls, MN. Sydney calls Fargo her current home having moved here for school and work. As a recent graduate of NDSU in Fargo, Sydney is excited to be working in Emergency Medicine. Sydney’s path to the ER at RRAEH came with experience gathered from an Internship at UMN-VMC and working in general practice.
Sydney likes to be able to help foster the human-animal bond by making a difference for both the humans and the animals that come across her path in the ER. Veterinary medicine enables Sydney to comfort and educate those that need it, be it humans or animals, or in most cases - both at the same time.
Sydney’s down time is spent sharing quality time with friends, traveling, and reading. An important part of her family, and the best snuggler ever is Vita the cat!
Brittany is from Grand Forks, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2022. She graduated from Front Range Community College in Colorado with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is the variety of care and support that can be given to greatly impact the lives of animals & their families.

Megan is from Thief River Falls, MN. She moved to Fargo in 2014. She has a degree in Animal Science from NDSU. Megan joined Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center in the fall of 2018. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are critical care medicine and learning new things every day.
In her free time, Megan likes to travel, make crafts, spend time with friends and family, and watch scary movies. Megan has an old man cat named Handsome and Lab mix named Liebe that she enjoys to taking to the dog park.
Morgan is from Grand Forks, ND and joined the RRAEH team in December 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from NDSU. In her free time, Morgan enjoys reading, & hiking. Her pets include Rolo, Luda, and Potato the dogs.
Jayden left her hometown of Wilton, ND for college in 2017. The college was NDSU in Fargo, ND where she achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. Jayden started her career in a general practice veterinary clinic where she developed a love for client education. She loves helping the people who love the animals better understand their pets' medical concerns. This passion for helping owners, allowed Jayden to learn many aspects of veterinary medicine, and when she learns she likes to share. Easing the minds of the pet owners is rewarding to Jayden. Her wanting to learn and expand her veterinary career, brought her to Emergency Medicine at RRAEH/RC. Never two days the same is exciting, and rewarding for Jayden! There are so many skills that Emergency Medicine is allowing Jayden to use to keep learning more each day, sharing information, and continuing to educate pet parents. She loves it!
Jayden is a Dog Mom to one special canine known as Jelly Bean! Walks with the Bean, and hanging with friends, are great times for Jayden. Two other hobbies, watching Ghost Adventures, and camping in ND and MN summers.
Karlee is a recent graduate from the 2024 Graduating Class of NDSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology. Originally from Jamestown, ND, college brought Karlee to Fargo and RRAEH/RC.
Being part of Veterinary Medicine is rewarding to Karlee in the knowledge that she and her peers have great skills to make a difference and help many animals with the advanced medical treatments at RRAEH.
When downtime can be found, Karlee enjoys spending time with her fiancé, her friends, and her pets. Her pet family includes cats Oliver and Summer and dog Ben.
Alyssa grew up in the Fargo suburb of Horace, ND. After high school graduation, Alyssa attended Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN. She graduated from Ridgewater with an associate degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2018. Her career at RRAEH/RC started in July 2024.
Alyssa likes how her career in Vet Med allows her to be part of helping take care of many species of small animals, continually learning new things in Vet Med and the understanding that the learning is never done! She finds this exciting and invigorating!
In her free time, Alyssa has a love for travel, art, attending music concerts, and being outdoors. Her house is home to 3 felines known as Rengar, Ahri, and Comet, along with a red-eared slider called Turtlini!
Taylor is from Aberdeen, SD and joined the RRAEH team in 2022. She is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program at NDSU. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is being able to help sick animals and see them recover.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with family & friends. Her furry family includes Loki the cat.

PHARMACY TECHNICIANS
Kat is from Bismarck, ND and joined our team in July 2024. She graduated from the University of Mary in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and obtained her license as a certified Pharmacy Technician a few months later. She loves animals, and is always eager to work with new patients that come in every day.
Kat's favorite thing to do is to travel and explore new places. Some of her other hobbies include camping, hiking, painting, and cooking. She has one dog named Bella and two cats named Toby and Snickers that stayed with her family in Bismarck, and she currently lives with a roommate that has two cats named Moose and Seal.

Sam is from Almont, ND and joined the RRAEH team in Summer of 2021. Her favorite things about veterinary medicine are getting to learn new things and helping the animals (always something she has wanted to do!).
In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and eating & cooking good food.
Larissa is from Fargo, ND. She joined our team in 2018. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is getting to see the patients go home happy and healthy.
In her free time, Larissa enjoys working out, hunting, snowboarding, and playing with her puppies. Her pets include Berkley the Golden Retriever and Moose the Corgi mix.
Alex is from Roseville, MN and joined the Red River Animal Emergency Hospital in May 2019. His favorite thing about veterinary medicine is being able to be here for critical patients and watching them become healthier. In his free time, Alex likes to play video games, go to the lake, and spend time with family and his pets, Purdy the cat and Aloy the black Lab.
Justina is from Marshall, MN and joined the RRAEH team in summer 2020. Justina’s favorite thing about veterinary medicine is getting to help take care of different animals and species, and how every day is different.
In her free time, Justina enjoys fishing, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Justina’s pets include 2 Corgis and a Chinchilla.
Madison is from Fargo, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2021. She is currently studying animal biomedical science at NDSU. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is all the animals and helping them to feel their best.

Emmanuelle is from Prior Lake, MN and joined the RRAEH team in fall of 2021. She is currently attending NDSU majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in French - her goal is to eventually work in federal law enforcement combatting human trafficking. She is fascinated by veterinary medicine and enjoys being a part of a practice that quite literally saves lives!

Emily is from Fargo, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2023. She has a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is being able to help animals get home to their families.
In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with family & friends and watching Golden Girls. Emily's pet family includes Smokey the Heeler, Omen the cat, and Walter the Cornsnake.
Sierra is from Fargo, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2021. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is getting to work with animals and watch them hopefully get better.
In her free time, Sierra enjoys watching movies. Her pets include a dog named Luna and 2 cats, Taz & Ava.
Andrea is from West Fargo, ND and joined the RRAEH team in 2022. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is providing optimal care to all animals.
Andrea's pets include Apple & Echo the cats, and Cornelius the goldfish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends & family, snowmobiling, & water sports/boating.
Eskyla moved to Fargo 4 years ago from her hometown, Ada, MN. Eskyla has enjoyed learning about animals over many years. She is a certified Veterinary Assistant through Animal Behavior College. Eskyla enjoys her position at RRAEH/RC as the hospital gives her an environment to use her skills and learn new things in the veterinary medicine field every day. When not working, Eskyla enjoys upcycling clothes and cooking!

Hailey had the great fortune to grow up in the city and the country, getting the opportunity to grow up with small animals as well as large animals. Hailey graduated from Sheyenne High in West Fargo, graduating class of 2023. She is currently enrolled at NDSU majoring in Animal Science and chose the biomedical science pathway in this major to hopefully apply to vet school in the future. Hailey has always admired how veterinary professionals learn to access symptoms, review medical history, and use problem-solving skills to identify the specific tests needed to diagnose their patients. Hailey joined RRAEH/RC in May of 2024 working in the Emergency Department. She enjoys that there is never a dull moment, no two days are ever the same, and she enjoys learning something new every shift.
Hailey's family also has animals of their own, including a non-stop ball-chasing Mini Aussie named Indy. She also has grown up with horses and currently owns two; Naomi is a 7-year-old mare, who has introduced Hailey to the sport of barrel racing, and Buddy, a retired gelding living his best life.
Any free time after work and classes will be spent outdoors, hiking, running, and spending time with her canine and equine friends!
Katie's hometown is Bemidji, MN. She became a member of the RRAEH/RC team in May 2024.
Katie's love of animals has empowered her to make a career helping animals! She currently is enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Program.
Her goals with her career in Vet Med, are to be able to provide the most optimal care to all animals and to be a great client educator!
Katie currently is the caregiver to a lovable Corgi known as Norman! When not working or studying, Katie enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and traveling.

Taylor grew up SW of Sioux Falls, SD in Tea, SD. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science (in Animal Science, Pre-Vet) degree from South Dakota State University. The best part of Veterinary Medicine for Taylor is being part of a pet's treatment plan and recovery process along with seeing the patients make great strides with recovery to wellness.
While Taylor's family has a love for Corgis, having 3 (Jerry Jeff, Franklin, and Winnie), her heart belongs to her Golden Retriever Lucy. Downtime for Taylor includes hiking and horseback riding, reading, and listening/playing music, in particular playing her saxophone for which she played in SDSU's marching band, The Pride of the Dakotas for four years. She also loves watching sports, mainly hockey and college football where she tries to never miss a SDSU game!
Kenzie moved from the famous city of Wimbledon, ND to Fargo, ND in 2020.
Kenzie is excited about her position here at RRAEH/RC! Her favorite thing about Vet Med is being part of the treatment plan for pet to get back to feeling their best!
Kenzie's house is always busy, and spending time with her husband and two daughters is always a top priority! Also, part of the family is Mr. Catfish and Lucy Belle, the Min Pin/Chi!
Her favorite thing about Veterinary Medicine is knowing that she can make a difference in the lives of the patients and clients and overall helping those around her!
That special feeling about helping animals and humans was the reason why MaKayla decided to re-enter college. She is currently enrolled at NDSU in a Pre-Vet Biological Science program, and two other minors, Pre-Law and Psychology. MaKayla has completed an Associate of Science Degree from Bismarck State College.
Having moved from Bismarck to Fargo in 2023 to pursue the Pre-Vet interest, she had a goal to someday work at the ER vet in Fargo she had heard about! She has accomplished that goal and is now working for RRAEH/RC since late summer 2024. She enjoys being part of veterinary medicine every day, and learning new things up close and personal in her position as Lab Assistant.
MaKayla enjoys spending time with her loved ones, loves finding new walking paths to explore, and she loves making sushi! She shares her house with childhood cats, MidKnight (14 years) and Sapphire (8 years), bearded dragon Freya (2 years) and the giant gecko, Geck(4 years).
Coming from the big metropolis of Irene, SD, Madison started her RRAEH/RC career in June 2024!
Madison moved to Fargo for college at NDSU; She received her Bachelor of Science in the spring of 2024.
Madison enjoys reading and hanging out with friends. She is the pet parent to one feline known as Pluto!

CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES
Jaime was born and raised in a suburb of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. She moved to the F-M area in 2012 and pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Jaime joined the RRAEH team in 2023. She has worked in the veterinary industry for nine years and has held a variety of positions while doing so. Jaime's favorite things about veterinary medicine are continually learning new things in an ever-changing field, building rapport with pet owners, and of course the adorable and unique pets we see.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, cooking, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the company of friends, family, and her two rescue cats (Ingrid & Anya).
Nancé is from Devils Lake, ND. She joined our team in the summer of 2018. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is helping all the animals and their humans through difficult times.
In her free time, Nancé likes to read, craft, and spend time with her grandkids and friends. Nancé is also “Nana” to Bella and Sophie the dogs.

Jessica has a mini Dachshund, Cupid, who is the love of her life and spoiled rotten. In her free time, Jessica enjoys attending concerts, house and yard projects and taking cupid for her rides.
Marissa is from Jamestown, ND and joined the RRAEH team in October 2019. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is constantly gaining more knowledge.
In her free time, Marissa enjoys artwork, video games, spending time with her pets, adventuring, going to concerts, and spending time with family. Marissa’s pets include Atreyu the Cane Corso, Attila the basset hound, Ouija the Sphynx, 7 boa constrictors, and 1 fat toad named Gromp.
Colleen is from Sauk Center, MN and joined the RRAEH team in fall 2019. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from NDSU. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is working closely with animals and learning new things all the time.
In her free time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her pets and fiance, going out to eat, travel, and going to music festivals. Colleens pets include Pablo the French Bulldog and Lewis & Clark the cats.
Jessica is from Glyndon, MN and joined the RRAEH team in 2019. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is that there are always new skills to learn and improve on.
What’s free time? Jessica is also a zookeeper at the Red River Zoo, so her life pretty much revolves around caring for animals. But if she does get free time now and then, she spends extra time with her cats watching Family Feud, or catching up on cat videos on YouTube. Jessica has a clowder of cats she loves and spoils with all her heart.
