Client Service Representative (Specialty and Referral Dept.) – Part-Time

As a Client Service Representative (CSR) with our Referral Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every client and patient that walks through our doors. You’ll be the Client Advocate, building strong, professional relationships with clients while ensuring the highest standard of care for their pets.

This dynamic position is essential to the daily operations of our hospital and includes responsibilities such as:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and hospital staff, fostering positive relationships.
  • Manage multiple phone lines, respond to client inquiries, and provide clear communication regarding hospital services, policies, and procedures.

  • Create and manage client/patient accounts and maintain accurate patient medical records, both internally and for referring veterinary facilities.

  • Facilitate patient visits by coordinating communication between the client and the medical staff, ensuring the smooth flow of information and care.

  • Process patient invoices with various payments, balance daily cash transactions, and assist clients with payment options.

  • Promote and explain alternative payment options to clients, ensuring a thorough understanding.

  • Support the work environment with a positive attitude and a commitment to upholding the standards of the hospital.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Part-Time
  • Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (6 – 10 hour shifts); 20-29 hours per week

  • Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour *more for those with experience

  • Location: In-person at Red River Animal Emergency Hospital and Referral Center
