Who We Are

Red River Animal Emergency Hospital & Referral Center (RRAEH) has proudly served the veterinary communities of North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota since 2005. Founded by local veterinarians who recognized the need for dedicated emergency services, RRAEH has grown into the region’s leading provider of advanced veterinary care.

We are the first and only 24/7 emergency hospital in North Dakota, offering round-the-clock emergency and critical care services since 2018. Remaining locally owned and operated by in-house veterinarians, we continue to prioritize excellence in patient care and client service.

With the demand for advanced veterinary care on the rise, we expanded our facilities in 2021 to double our square footage, creating space for specialties in Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. By 2024, RRAEH became the state’s only 24/7 multi-specialty hospital. Our commitment to state-of-the-art medicine, cutting-edge equipment, education, community involvement, and a supportive workplace culture sets us apart as a veterinary hospital unlike any other.
