Otto’s journey with our Surgery team is a testament to determination, patience, and the bond between a dog and his devoted family.
When Otto began struggling with a torn cranial cruciate ligament in his right knee, surgery was recommended to restore his comfort and mobility. He underwent a TPLO procedure and recovered beautifully.
Just as he was getting back to his normal routine, Otto began showing signs of discomfort in his other leg. Unfortunately, he had developed a similar injury on the left side and once again required surgery.
Throughout both procedures and recoveries, Otto remained a model patient. His sweet personality and positive attitude quickly made him a favorite among our Surgery team.
After months of healing and rehabilitation, Otto is now back on all four paws and ready for his next adventure. Although we were sad to learn that Otto and his family would be moving away, we couldn’t be happier knowing that he is leaving strong, comfortable, and ready to enjoy life to the fullest.
We wish Otto and his family all the best as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
